Over 300 high impact international entrepreneurs will this week share their knowledge and experience with local Cape Town entrepreneurs as part of the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation annual conference, which will be hosted for the first time on the African continent. The City of Cape Town and its partners Wesgro and Cape Town Tourism will be actively promoting Cape Town as an investment destination at this strategic conference.

The Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO) is a global network of more than 7 000 entrepreneurs across 38 countries, all of whom run companies that exceed a turnover of US$1 million. The EO was founded in 1987, and a South African Chapter of the organisation opened in 2005.

The conference will be held at the BMW Pavillion Conference Centre at the V&A Waterfront, from 10 to 12 November 2010. The South African chapter of the EO secured the event for Cape Town.

The EO has already contributed to local entrepreneurship development in Cape Town, and local entrepreneurs will benefit from four Entrepreneurship Coaching Sessions, to be held as part of the conference, during which visiting entrepreneurs from EO will share their experiences will local entrepreneurs.
