New Modular Spray System Optimizes the Performance of Your Automatic Spray Nozzles

There’s a new way to control your automatic spray nozzles and improve precision and efficiency in your spraying operations. Our AutoJet 1550 Modular Spray System is filled with features that improve quality and efficiency in your operations.

Benefits

  • Automatic on/off control of nozzles offers greater precision than manual operation or other devices such as solenoid valves. Accurate placement of the sprayed liquid is ensured and waste is minimized
  • Automatic air and liquid control means proper flow and drop size and the elimination of quality problems due to uneven application of the spray solution
  • Pulse Width Modulated flow control allows the use of larger nozzle orifices to reduce clogging and liquid use with PulsaJet® and AA250AUH nozzles
  • Self-contained unit can be set-up in minutes
  • Excellent for R&D or pilot runs, yet durable enough for full-scale production applications
  • Operates both electrically- and pneumatically-actuated spray nozzles
  • Ideal for coating, lubricating and marking applications

Problem-Solving with the AutoJet® Model 1550 Modular Spray System

Bakery Solves Grease Application Problem
A bakery needed to apply grease to a conveyor to prevent sticking. Pouring grease on the conveyor from a trough wasted a great deal of material and created a mess. An AutoJet Model 1550 Modular Spray System and a header equipped with ¼JAU air atomizing nozzles solved the problem. The system pulls grease directly from a 55-gallon drum and coats the conveyor uniformly without any waste or mess. The reduced use of non-stick grease and elimination of costly downtime for clean-up prompted the order of additional systems.

Inconsistent Coating Eliminated
A metal fabricator needed to apply a precise volume of lubricant to a stamping press when triggered. Manual application of the lubricant was inconsistent and waste was
excessive. The AutoJet Model 1550 Modular Spray System provided an economical solution. The lubricant is drawn from a tote and applied to the die precisely every time. The efficiency and precision of the system led the fabricator to purchase a system for every stamping press.

Precision Spray Control Solves Misting Issues
Applying a light, even coating of corn syrup was the challenge facing one food processor. Corn syrup needed to be applied using low flow rates, but the processor didn’t want to use air atomizing nozzles due to potential misting problems and the expense of compressed air. The AutoJet Model 1550 Modular Spray System and PulsaJet® automatic spray nozzles proved to be an ideal way to apply the viscous syrup. Using Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) flow control, the PulsaJet nozzles operate at a very low duty cycle to achieve the desired flow rates, resulting in lower material usage and improved product quality.
