MANAGEMENT: USB Expands Africa Sessions

The University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB) is expanding its annual information sessions to the rest of Africa for the first time. Other African countries that will be visited include Zimbabwe, Kenya, Namibia and Ghana as well as several cities in South Africa.
The director of Stellenbosch Business School, Prof John Powell, the deputy director responsible for marketing and business development, Marietjie Wepener, as well as senior admissions personnel of the USB will personally present the information session and interact with prospective students, HR practitioners, business owners, managers in the public and private sector, USB alumni and all those interested in furthering their careers through postgraduate studies at the USB in Bellville, Cape Town, in South Africa.
Prof Powell will talk about what business school education should do for the careers of upcoming young managers and specialists. Wepener will give more information about the MBA of Stellenbosch Business School. Information on other programmes the USB offers will be made available.
For the convenience of prospective students, the USB will schedule SHL selection tests (an MBA admission requirement at USB) at the venues. Prospective students can sit for the tests during the Information Session.
The University of Stellenbosch Business School has two international accreditations EQUIS and AMBA and has been rated in the A-category for business schools with major international influence by Eduniversal – a Paris-based ratings organisation. The Aspen Institute in the USA has ranked the USB on its Beyond Grey Pinstripes Top Global 100 Schools list for promoting social and environmental sustainability.
